About Me: Hello! My name is Kara House, and I am currently a sophomore psychology major at Marian University. I am extremely passionate about the field of mental health and even suffer myself from anxiety and depression. With this blog, I hope to create a positive atmosphere for those suffering from mental health disorders and to further eradicate the negative stigma. My hope is to eventually become a clinical psychologist so that I can diagnose and treat mental health disorders. This blog will be an outlet for my passion of psychology and writing all in one place. Enjoy!:)

“You are not your illness. You have an individual story to tell. You have a name, a history, a personality. Staying yourself is part of the battle.” – Julian Seifter
